I have a special job, which is solving mysteries that span across vast timelines.
Sounds cool? Well, you will be surprised to hear that being a time-traveller is VERY costly.
For every time realm I visit, I pay for my meals out of my own pocket. Considering inflation to be factored in, meals and necessities can easily rack up the bills. Not to mention, I often face antagonists and get into fights. Medical bills can add on to my financial burdens. My financial health has suffered tremendously. Therefore, I have made up my mind and started to research ways to improve my finances and protect my well-being.
I began by establishing an emergency fund for scenarios where I had to spend more than planned. Furthermore, I made a small investment by buying gold due to its universal value, which I would carry around in case I needed money in my time-travelling assignments. I also managed to secure medical insurance that covers my injuries. Time-travelling can lead to unpredictable situations, much like in the real life. Be prepared for all your “what ifs” by planning long term and making smart financial decisions that will benefit your future self.
